In accordance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and the applicable French laws, Savila Education informs users of the websites and platforms www.savilaeducation.com, www.savilagames.com, www.savilagames.io, Systeme.io pages and webinar pages (Demio) of the Privacy Policy that will be applied to the processing of personal data provided by the user, either by:

  • registering on the website or platform,

  • subscribing to the newsletter,

  • downloading resources or signing up for webinars,

  • purchasing or accessing an online course or program (including the Data Analytics for Supply Chain Program / SCAP), or

  • any interaction with Savila Education.

By providing Savila Education with your personal data, you expressly consent, through the mechanism provided for this purpose, to the processing of your data in accordance with the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy, which will constitute the legal basis for its processing where consent is required.

2. What type of personal information do we collect?

We may collect the following types of personal information from users, depending on the interaction:

  • Identification data: name, surname, email address, telephone number, country.

  • Contact details: billing or organization address.

  • Professional data (optional): represented organization, role or job position.

  • Learning platform data: course/module viewed, attendance to live sessions, project or assignment submissions, assessment results, participation in the community or comments — especially for SCAP and other training products delivered online.

  • Transaction data: products/programs purchased, payment confirmations (full card details are not stored by us; payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal or Systeme.io).

  • User’s navigation and browser data: IP address, device, browser, operating system, pages visited, time spent, referral source, and interaction with the brand — collected through cookies and similar technologies.

  • Marketing and communication data: newsletter subscriptions, download of lead magnets, webinar registrations, answers to forms, content preferences.

  • Advertising interaction data: if you arrive from or interact with our ads on Google, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn, those platforms may send us aggregated or anonymized information to measure campaign performance.

The user’s voluntarily provided data during the use of the website or platform will be included for processing purposes as indicated in this Privacy Policy.

Savila Education will maintain the corresponding record of data processing activities as required by GDPR.

3. For what purposes do we process personal data?

We collect and process personal information for the following purposes:

  • Providing access to our platform and services

    • To create your account and allow you to log in to our learning environment (Systeme.io or other LMS).

    • To deliver the SCAP program and other courses, including live sessions, replays, notebooks, and resources.

  • Training and progress tracking

    • To monitor your learning progress, project completion, attendance to live sessions, and participation in the community.

    • To issue certificates or proof of completion.

  • Communication with users (service communications)

    • Contacting you via email, phone calls, SMS, or other equivalent electronic communication methods, regarding updates or informational communications related to the functionalities, products, or services contracted, including security or platform updates, whenever necessary or reasonable for their execution.

  • Marketing and newsletters (only if you consent)

    • Sending newsletters, educational content, promotions, and invitations to webinars or events.

    • Managing subscriptions to resources and lead magnets.

    • Personalizing advertising or communications related to our products and services through email, SMS, or other electronic means owned by us or by our collaborating third parties.

  • Addressing and following up on inquiries and requests

    • Responding to messages, support tickets, and requests through our Customer Service.

  • Developing, fulfilling, and executing the sales contract

    • Managing purchases, enrollments, and billing.

  • Internal platform analytics and improvements

    • Analyzing navigation, content consumption, and performance of the platform to improve our educational offer, user experience, and marketing actions.

  • Compliance with legal obligations

    • Maintaining accounting, tax, and billing records required by French and EU law.

  • Conducting market research and statistics

    • Studying content performance and user interest in supply chain, data analytics, and related topics.

  • Profiling of users

    • Creating basic profiles according to user interaction (e.g. supply chain interest, training level, webinar attendee) in order to offer more relevant content — always within the framework of consent and legitimate interest.

  • Advertising and remarketing

    • If you accept non-essential cookies, we may use Google Ads, Meta/Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok or LinkedIn pixels to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and show relevant ads to users who have expressed interest in our services.

  • Webinars and live events (Demio)

    • To register you, send you reminders and replays, and follow up with resources related to the webinar you attended.

We may also request geolocation permission to enable the use of one of the services provided in our platform (e.g. for time zone or event time display). This is always optional.

4. Legal Basis for Data Processing

The legal basis for processing personal data includes:

  • Performance of a contract: when processing is necessary to provide access to the platform and services you purchased or requested (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

  • Consent of the data subject: for marketing and newsletter communications, lead magnets, webinar follow-up, advertising cookies and featuring/testimonials (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

  • Compliance with legal obligations: for tax, accounting, and mandatory record-keeping (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

  • Legitimate interest of Savila Education: to improve services, ensure platform security, prevent misuse or fraud, and measure content performance (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

5. How long will we retain the data?

  • The personal data provided will be kept as long as the commercial or educational relationship is maintained or for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

  • If you decide to cancel your personal data, it may be retained in our databases for the periods required by law (especially for fiscal and accounting obligations) and will be deleted or anonymized once these legal limits have expired.

  • Learning data (SCAP): we may keep progress and completion information for up to 5 years to be able to prove your participation/certification.

  • Cookie data: according to the retention period defined in our cookie management tool (Cookiebot).

Subscription to the newsletter

If you authorize your subscription to the newsletter, we will provide you with information about our products and services through various means (email, SMS, or other electronic media).
You may unsubscribe at any time through the link included in each newsletter.

6. What legitimizes us to process the data?

  • The contractual relationship established when you purchase our products and services or enroll in a program.

  • Your express consent for sending advertising, profiling for marketing, sharing projects or testimonials, and using advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn).

  • Our legitimate interest in improving services, doing basic analytics, and protecting our content from misuse.

7. Sharing of personal information

We may share your personal information with third-party service providers to enable the functioning of our platform and services. In all cases, the data provided is strictly necessary for the specific activity to be carried out.

These providers may include (non-exhaustive list):

  • Systeme.io – to host courses, manage enrollments, send transactional emails, and process payments.

  • Demio – to manage webinar registrations, live sessions, and follow-up emails.

  • Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Gmail, Forms) – to communicate with you and store documents securely.

  • Vimeo / Cloudflare Stream – to host and deliver course videos.

  • Dropbox – to store resources and program materials.

  • Stripe / PayPal – to process secure payments.

  • Twilio – communication.

  • Advertising and analytics providers – Google (Analytics, Ads), Meta/Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn — only if you have consented to cookies/tracking.

By accepting this Privacy Policy, you expressly authorize the transfer of your personal data to these collaborating third parties, whether located within or outside French territory, provided that they offer a level of protection equivalent to GDPR (EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other adequate safeguards).

Savila Education does not sell customer data to third parties under any circumstances.

8. International Data Transfers

As part of our operations, we may transfer your personal information to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) — for example, when using US-based services such as Demio, Stripe, Meta, Google, or Vimeo.

In such cases, we will take appropriate measures to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including:

  • the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission,

  • or transfers under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework,

  • or to providers that can demonstrate an adequate level of protection.

9. What are your rights regarding personal data?

As a user of our platform, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal information.

  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data.

  • Right to withdraw consent (applicable where consent is the legal basis for processing).

  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal retention requirements.

  • Right to data portability in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

  • Right to object to processing, especially for direct marketing or when based on legitimate interest.
